Most paint is not dull, it is just covered in fine swirls and marks that scatter the light. Correction is the work of machining those out so the gloss the car left the factory with comes back.
At Glossworks, correction and protection are treated as one process. There is no point bringing a finish back if it is not then locked in, so once the paint is corrected the right protection goes straight on top.
That order is what makes a coating worth it. Skip the correction and you simply seal in the swirls. Do it properly and the gloss you are protecting is the car at its best.
"The work is the BEST I have ever seen and the product is super amazing. Two years on the car still looks brand new."

Send Kent a few photos of the paint and he will tell you what correction will get out of it.
